Privacy Policy
DRAFT - NOT LEGAL ADVICE. This text exists so the site has a working privacy page for Google sign-in registration. Have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it, particularly the sections on minors.
Who we are
Loudoun One Volleyball Experience (LOVE) is a junior volleyball club in Loudoun County, Virginia. You can reach us at info@LoudounOneVolleyball.org.
What we collect
When you sign in. We use Google to sign you in. We never see or store your password. From Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and your Google account identifier, and we store those to identify your account.
When you contact us. The name, email address, subject, and message you submit, plus the IP address the message came from.
When you join our mailing list. Your email address and the IP address you submitted it from.
Club participation. For registered families we hold the information needed to run the club: player names, ages, teams, schedules, attendance, waivers, and payment status.
How we use it
To run the club: managing accounts and rosters, communicating with families about teams and events, processing registration and fees, and meeting safety and insurance obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Public rosters
Public team pages show only a first name and last initial, jersey number, position, and graduation year. Dates of birth, addresses, contact details, and medical information are never shown publicly.
Children
Our programs serve minors. Accounts are intended for parents and guardians, and a parent or guardian must consent before we collect information about a child. If you believe we have collected information about a child without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Who we share it with
Our hosting provider, our email provider, and our payment processor, each only as needed to provide their service. We also share information when the law requires it.
Your choices
You may request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Email info@LoudounOneVolleyball.org. See also our data deletion instructions.
